So it's Monday: Coffee is going and I already said my hellos to Jesus and Missy is running around the apartment like she doesnt get enough attention..ha..ha..She has a terrible life being the only cat in the house.

She is so spoiled and eats only certain food..She may inherit a sister..we shall see.

We must really pray about the things going on in our world..so many people wanting to be violent..

What is this world coming to?

Threats of War

Surely this is not a time to grow lax in our faith..it is time to pray..Many things point to the rumors of war.

We mustnt be afraid but we must be careful.

Let us keep our souls pleasing to God and if they are not; let us rid ourselves of those things that He does not like.

God's Ways

Sometimes dearest Jesus, we think we will be happier here or there..Happiness is doing the best where the present moment finds one..where ever it is.

I love the country and trees and grass ..but see only concrete, buildings and planes.

Perhaps this is an invitation to a much deeper relationship with You..that has nothing to do with the externals..

Nothing outside can make you closer or further away..only we can push You away .

You are ever in our hearts..nothing outside can take that away ..unless we let it..

I hear in the background of my heart the beautiful song John Denver wrote "almost Heaven, West Virginia...."

I am praying to do God's Will, not mine. I need to know His Will and do it.

New blog same journey

I am going to try to blog daily and share my thoughts, I think there is something intriguing about someone's diary. This is about my day to day journey.

My eyes are set on Heaven and my homeland is there, yet my feet are still stuck on this earth.. I am on a journey but not to any place this earth has. I must pass through many place here, and go through many trials and experience many heartbreaks and joys; yet ,am not here to stay; am on a journey to Heaven.

Feel free to comment and share your thoughts. We are all on a journey. As we go through life we see things in different fashion; it's good to share our insights and to receive instruction.

Heaven is our home, if we are children of God. Don't let the things of this world mislead you..they all will pass as does all temporal things..
